Villanova has released changes to the staff for the 2018-19 season.

With the departure of former assistant coach Ashley Howard, who became the head coach at La Salle, former Wildcat Mike Nardi has been promoted to assistant coach. Nardi served as the Director of Basketball Operations last season.

Villanova has filled Nardi’s Director position with former Wildcat and Nardi teammate Dwayne Anderson, who has spent the last five seasons as an assistant at Penn State.

“We are excited to welcome Dwayne and his wife Lindsay home to Villanova,” said Villanova head coach Jay Wright. “As a player, Dwayne’s leadership traits played a critical role on our 2009 NCAA Final Four team. Those same traits have helped make him an outstanding young coach. He will be a great role model for our players.”
