Rob DePersia elevated to Director of Basketball Operations

DePersia has served as Assistant Director of Basketball Operations under Joey Flannery, who was recently named Associate Head Coach at Babson College.

DePersia played four years at Rowan University before joining Villanova as a graduate manager in 2019. He spent two years on Jay Wright's staff before following Kyle Neptune to Fordham to serve as video coordinator during Neptune's lone season as Fordham's head coach. DePersia then followed Neptune back to Villanova when the latter took over following Wright's retirement, taking on the role of Assistant Director of Basketball Operations.

“Rob has been an integral part of our staff, both here and during my time at Fordham,” Neptune said, via a statement from the school. “In that time, Rob has consistently demonstrated what makes him an outstanding young coach. He’s a great asset not just to our staff, but to our players.”
