Villanova will honor the 1985 national championship team when the Wildcats host Providence at Wells Fargo Center on Jan. 19, the school announced Friday.

A ceremony will be held at halftime, with member of the 1985 team expected to be on hand. Among the expected guests are Ed Pinckney, Dwayne McClain, Gary McLain, Harold Pressley and Harold Jensen along with members of the family of late coach Rollie Massimino.

The '85 team, of course, not only delivered the first national championship in program history, but did so by upsetting powerhouse Georgetown in the title game.

The Providence game will also be a "white out," with fans encouraged to wear white.
