The 2022-23 college basketball season is inching closer and we hit another milestone on our journey to the season on Thursday when Villanova released the non-conference schedule for the upcoming season.
The Wildcats will kick off the season on November 7 when they host La Salle in a Big 5 tilt at the Pavilion. A second Big 5 game follows with a trip to Temple on November 11. After taking on Delaware State, the 'Cats will have their first marquee matchup of the non-conference slate when they travel to Michigan State on November 18.
'Nova will head to Oregon over the Thanksgiving holiday to take part in the PK85 Tournament, where it will play three games. A bracket for that event is expected in the coming weeks.
The 'Cats will return to Philadelphia for another marquee matchup on December 3, when they will host Oklahoma at the Wells Fargo Center.
Then it's back to Big 5 play with a home game against Penn on December 7. On December 10 the 'Cats will head to Newark to play Boston College in the Never Forget Tribute Classic. 'Nova will wrap up both non-conference and Big 5 play on December 17 at St. Joe's.
