Villanova's 2023-24 season will continue, as the Wildcats earned a No. 1 seed in the NIT.

'Nova will draw VCU in the first round, and would play the winner of UCF/South Florida with a win over the Rams.

Obviously not the invite everyone was hoping for at the start of the season, but an opportunity for the team to continue to develop.

Big East teams joining the Wildcats in the NIT after the league somewhat shockingly only received three NCAA Tournament bids are Seton Hall, Providence, Butler and Xavier. St. John's declined to participate in the NIT.

Nit first round games will take place Tuesday and Wednesday.
