Villanova got some huge news Monday night when top 10 2022 recruit Cam Whitmore confirmed his commitment to Villanova via his Instagram page.

Shortly after that, another 2022 Villanova recruit reacted to the news by reaching out to the final member of Villanova's 2022 class who has yet to confirm his commitment, Brendan Hausen.

Armstrong was the first member of the trio to reaffirm his commitment following the retirement of Jay Wright, doing so last Friday.

It's hard to overstate the importance of keeping the 2022 class intact, not only because of the talent of the trio of players and their potential on-court impact but also for the perception of the program and future recruiting endeavors. Coach Neptune is off to a great start in those efforts.

It's great to have two of the three reaffirm their commitments and it's cool to see a member of the group celebrating the decision of another to stick it out and encouraging another to join them in doing so.

Hausen is set to visit on Tuesday.
