Strengths: Great athlete, has a wonderful basketball frame and is already close to having the build/strength of a High Major forward.  His camp highlights included an 18 point performance against Devin Ebanks in which he shot the ball perfect from the floor – including two three-point baskets.  He has a nice looking stroke from beyond the arc and showed the ability to score in a variety of ways.  Very good handle for a Class of 2009 prospect with his physical stature.
Weaknesses: Johnson needs to improve his free-throw shooting form and focus.  Has room to improve on the defensive end of the floor.  Should be more active defensively.  Karron also needs to develop consistency as he progresses.  Poor assist-to-turnover ratio.
Karron Johnson established himself as having the potential to be an elite prospect in the Class of 2009!
