Obviously, this is huge news not only for next season but for the future of the program. The team's prospects for next season immediately improve, and while we still can't generate a great idea of what next season will look like with so many other potential roster changes remaining, things look much brighter with Moore leading the way.

Beyond the immediate future, having Moore back and the stability his presence provides is huge as the program tries to bridge what will be another uncertain season. With Moore back, there is a much greater chance that the Wildcats will be able to build on the growth they showed down the stretch last season and have a shot at returning to the NCAA Tournament. This, in turn, could play a big role in stabilizing recruiting.

Furthermore, the decision from Moore could serve to attract other players who are in the transfer portal.

Moore already cemented his place in the history of the program with his hard work to recover from a torn Achilles and return to the court in 10 months. Especially with 'Nova struggling last season, no one would have blamed Moore if he chose to sit out the season and continue his rehab. Instead, he returned from the injury in remarkable time and rejoined his teammates to help them make a late push for a tournament berth. Despite the missed time and not being 100%, Moore averaged 13.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 13 games.

There's still a lot of offseason to go, but having Moore back in the fold is huge.
