Bridges Signs LOI

Back on June 25th, 'Nova Nation received fantastic news when 6'6", Rivals Top 100, wingman, Mikal Bridges gave a verbal commitment to attend Villanova University and play basketball for Coach Jay Wright's Wildcats.
Early this morning, Bridges put his commitment in writing in the form of a formal LOI to attend Villanova. It is being delivered to the basketball offices where it will be happily received.

Given his ability to shoot and handle the ball, Bridges projects as a perimeter player in Wright's offense. His length and athleticism will allow him to guard multiple positions on the defensive end of the court. Versatility is an attribute that Coach Wright looks for in recruits and Bridges will certainly arrive on the Main Line with a versatile game and plenty of upside.
Bridges, a Class of 2014, four-star, plays his High School basketball at Great Valley High School in Malvern PA. He played his AAU ball with Team Final on the Nike EYBL circuit.
VUSports has been following Mikal Bridges' development for some time now including at the Donofrio Classic in Conshy and during EYBL events this past spring.
