GW will play trapping zone defenses full court and half court.

They will likely play a 1-2-2 zone that they will play in both full and half court, and a 1-3-1 they will play in the half court. When in man they like to double off the first pass or whenever two offensive players get close to one another.

If the Colonials expect to beat the Commodorers, they must make this game a transition game and force a lot of turnovers. And it will be key for them to get these turnovers, so they do not lead to open shots for the Commodores.

Maureece Rice will need to come up big for George Washington. He is a big strong point that will try to use his size against our points to get in around the basket and either finish or create for a teammate.

The key for the Commodores will be handling George Washington's double teams and pressure defenses. If they are able to do that guys like Cage, Foster, Byers and Gordon will have open shots all night long and our bigs will get easy buckets at the basket.
