The Wildcats proved to be a resilient squad by following up a difficult loss at Georgetown on Saturday with an 82-75 win over West Virginia at Morgantown on Big Monday. The victory moves 'Nova to 21-2 overall and 10-1 in Big East play. The Cats used a mixture of long, athletes on defense to hold the Mountaineers to 41% shooting from the floor and 25.9% shooting beyond the arc. On offense, Villanova used the dribble-drive ability of Corey Fisher, transition offense, and a blend of inside-outside scoring from a variety of players to overcome WVU. Scottie Reynolds scored 19 of his 21 points in the closing 13 minutes to go with 5 assists and 3 steals. Corey Fisher dropped in 17 points and Antonio Pena chipped in with 10 points and 9 boards. [
